Ronnie James Dio was easily one of, if not the greatest metal vocalist of all time. If you've never heard of him, get out of my fucking sight. If you have, you will be saddened to hear of his passing on May 16th, 2010, due to his battle with stomach cancer.

This was super upsetting. I've been away the past two weeks and had no idea he even had failing health. What made it even more of a bummer was that the night before we went and saw Brian Posehn and they played some Heaven & Hell and I was like, "Dio is still fuckin' awesome!"

Well, now you make me sad I only ever heard one of his songs in my entire life. I'll have to make a concerted effort to listen to some more of his music.
